The Director of Psychometric and Curriculum Evaluation will support the Heritage College by critically assessing, designing, and implementing psychometric analysis and evaluation for its' educational programs and to allow for curricular quality improvement in alignment with strategic initiatives.
This requires competency in psychometric methods, assessment design, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of obtained data.
Primary Accountabilities:
Develop, oversee and implement a comprehensive evaluation strategy of learners within our educational programs which addresses learner needs, program goals and evidenced-based best practices to support the college's strategic vision.
Design, conduct and document analyses supporting assessment development and the interpretation and use of examination scores, including performance-based assessments (e.
g.
, OSCEs).
Educate and support faculty in conducting appropriate statistical/ assessment analyses as it pertains to learner assessment, curricular quality improvement and research Work with faculty and OME leadership in design, implementation and continuous quality improvement of a comprehensive course and curricular evaluation system promoting evidence-based curricular improvement Effectively communicate recommendations from quantitative and qualitative analysis to internal constituent groups which include students, faculty, staff and administrators, with a focus on quality improvement.
Minimum Qualifications PhD in psychometrics, educational assessment, educational measurement, psychological measurement or a related field with an emphasis on statistics 1 year relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Department HCOM - Academic Affairs Pay Rate Salary is commensurate with education and experience, while also considering internal equity.
