Instructor, English (Part-time, Non-tenure track, POOL POSTING)


Job Description:
The English department is seeking applicants for a part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor position at the Athens campus for the Fall 2023 semester and the 2023-2024 academic year.
The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing.
If a need arises, the department will review and select candidates from this posting.

The instructor will teach first-year and/or advanced composition or another writing or literature course as assigned.

Minimum
Qualifications:
MA in English, or minimally a Masters degree and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline relevant graduate course work.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with teaching of writing.
Previous experience teaching English courses at Ohio University.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
