Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team

at Ohio Health - a leading medical facility in Athens, OH.


Responsibilities
  • Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
  • The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
  • 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home
  • Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circs
  • Pediatric Consultations:
    Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Collaborative Teamwork:
    Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI):
    The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
  • Knowledge Exchange:
    Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
