Commercial Tire Tech
Career Connections is looking for a Commercial Tire Tech for a growing business in Athens, Ohio. Main duties include changing auto and light truck tires, medium commercial and farm tires, making flat repairs, and responding to mobile service calls as needed.
This is a temporary to direct, full-time position hiring ASAP. The schedule can vary to include some evening or weekend hours, but hours will mainly occur Monday - Friday. Potential shifts during the week are 7:
30 a.m.-4:
30 p.m., 8:
00 a.m.-5:
00 p.m., and 9:
00 a.m.-6:
00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The pay rate starts at $8.50/hour, with an increase given after training is completed. Once hired permanently, this company offers comprehensive benefits.
To qualify for this position, candidates with a DOT medical card will be given priority, but it is not required. Prior experience working on automobiles, tires, or commercial tires preferred. Must be able to take initiative on the job, be a team player, but work well independently.
