Receptionist/Secretary

HAVAR, Inc., is currently hiring for a Receptionist/Secretary for their facility in Athens, Ohio. Will be responsible for general office management for the Athens County programs. Will offer program support by performing on-call functions during regular office hours; coordinate all logistics for all-county staff meetings and county parties; and respond to consumer requests by phone or in person. Will answer phones, pick-up and distribute mail, keep office forms stocked and assembled, order/maintain office supplies, update personnel files, and perform closing and clean-up functions.
This is a direct-hire, full-time job opportunity hiring immediately. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The starting pay is $10.14/hour. This company does offer benefits including health insurance.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be computer proficient, have previous office experience, and be professional and understand the important of confidentiality. Must have reliable transportation, demonstrate a helpful and team-oriented personality, and have good verbal and written communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
