Behavioral Technician
Career Connections is looking for a Behavioral Technician for a social services institution in Athens, Ohio. Candidate will supervise boys and girls with anti-social personalities and/or behavioral issues in a controlled environment. Will be overseeing the kids and their activities, enforcing rules, encouraging good behavior, and ensuring everyone's safety. Will also complete paperwork, provide transportation for outside appointments, and perform inspections.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-direct position which starts ASAP. The hours are 7:
00 a.m. to 5:
00 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday. The starting hourly rate is $8.75.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have strong communication skills and an authoritative presence. A high school diploma or GED and some relevant experience is required, associate degree preferred. Must have or be in the process for CDCA certification. Must have valid drivers' license, vehicle insurance, and a good driving record.
Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen prior to the first day on the job.
